At the Dance Academy of Bartlett, we strive for a happy medium between education and enjoyment. All students, even our preschoolers, learn steps and combinations, study terminology (including French for ballet), and perform on the stage by themselves. Our younger students play movement games that develop dance technique. As students get older, the enjoyment becomes the challenge of learning.
Our teaching is based on a balance of time proven techniques and tradition with updated and progressive ideas. Our staff regularly seeks continuing education to stay current in our knowledge of child development, body science and style trends. We aim to reach each student in their own learning style.
